In 2019, one of our founders spent $180 on a driveway sealer that received glowing reviews from a website that clearly had never applied anything thicker than paint. The sealer turned chalky white within a season, peeled at every expansion joint, and left the driveway looking worse than before. Removing it cost more than the original product.
That experience sparked Home Fix Reviews. We set a simple rule: we only publish scores after we've personally used a product on a real project — minimum one full season of weathering, real substrate conditions, real square footage.
